Bishop Kevin Dobbs answered the call of God to serve as the Founder and Senior Pastor of the Christ Redemption Tabernacle Church in Niagara Falls, New York, on September 19th, 1999, after serving in various capacities at Emmanuel Temple Apostolic (ETA) Church for 23 years. ETA was founded by his father in the gospel, the late Bishop William Crossley, Bishop Dobbs was the faithful Assistant Pastor at ETA Church under the leadership of District Elder William Robinson. Christ Redemption Tabernacle Church is affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Inc. (PAW) of the Apostolic faith.  Bishop Dobbs was ordained in October 2000, by Diocesan Bishop Charles E. Davis at the New York State & Canada Council. He was elevated to Bishop at the PAW Convention in Ohio on Thursday, August 15th, 2019. Presently, Bishop Dobbs is the Diocesan of the New York State Council.

From the beginning, Bishop Dobbs remained determined to keep the congregation together. To that end, he conducted morning and evening services at a local hotel in Niagara Falls. The gospel of Jesus Christ continued to be preached and taught. Souls were being saved, set free, delivered, and were being baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Healthy church growth has always been and remains the focus of Bishop Dobbs when it comes to ‘Advancing the Kingdom’. His passion for souls, the family, and for restoring and revitalizing the Niagara Falls community has other ministers, clergy, and community leaders supportive of him and endeared by his perseverance and servants heart. Many have expressed… “he’s a visionary, a great leader with great integrity; a kind man with humility and patience”.

CRT is a Spirit-filled Bible-believing church. Zechariah 4:6 "...Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts." We believe that in Him we live, move, and have our being and nothing happens except by the Spirit of God. We believe in inviting the presence of God in service before anything else happens. Worship of God is the fuel for the fire at CRT.  Making a joyful noise unto the Lord, empowering each other and powering into the next generation is our passion. We believe in spiritual growth, healing, deliverance, and allowing everyone to reach their potential in Christ. Opportunities for growth are available to God's people. At each gathering, we expect the Holy Spirit to fill us, save, redeem, restore, perform miracles among us, heal, mend brokenness, teach, pour out new songs, deliver, set free, and anything else He wishes to do. Our doors are open to you, your friends and families.

Our Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God: written by the Holy men of old as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

II Peter 1:20-21.  In one God who is infinite in power, Holy in nature, attributes, and purpose: omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent.

We believe that He was revealed to us, Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in His comforting grace that never leaves those who trust in Him. I Corinthians. 8:6; Ephesians. 4:6; II Corinthians 5:19; Joel 2:28.  That in Jesus Christ dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; for it pleased the Father that in Him should all the fullness dwell. Colossians. 2:9& 1:19.  In the virgin birth; that Jesus was both human and divine. God manifest in the flesh. Matt. 1:23; I Tim. 3:16.

We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. We believe that He ascended on high and has sent His Spirit, the Holy Ghost, which was poured out at Jerusalem over 2000 years ago, and is still filling the hearts of those who diligently seek Him today. Acts 2:14.

We believe in faith, repentance, water baptism (by immersion) in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, the baptism of the Holy ghost, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and Transformation of the mind.  This constitutes the new birth. Acts 2:4,38.

Our Mission

To effectively empower individuals through prayer, worship, fellowship, and anointed teaching; that the man will be thoroughly furnished unto good works.

We aim and strive to serve our fellow man in spiritual growth and kingdom building. To uphold a common motivation of unity, peace, justice and dignity among those we serve.

Vision Statement

Saving Souls.

To make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in Jesus Name according to Matthew 28:19.

Then, equipping them for Kingdom Activities (Ministries), and to be witnesses for Jesus. To nurture them for spiritual growth and make them ready for the Rapture! The harvest truly is plentiful.
